Watch this explainer video by IPAV of Wicked Problems and the Systems Innovation approach required to address them:

"Sustainability is a dynamic process which enables all people to realise their potential and to improve their quality of life in ways that simultaneously protect and enhance the Earth’s life support system.” — Forum of The Future

The Suste approach is unique in that it focuses on correcting the deeper cause of metabolic and cognitive dysfunctions that increase body set weight, impair self-discipline, and deplete energy levels, all of which enslave people to unhealthy and unsustainable behaviours.

The Sustainable Model of Change (SMOC) approach was developed by working with leading experts in health, sustainability and digital behaviour change. Together, we expanded on the systems thinking model for wicked problems and are going deeper than anyone has before. We consider the complex interplay between personal physiology, beliefs, and behaviours and the influences of community, culture, industries and crucially the environment we are all part of.

Our climate action-orientated community is aimed at driving change from the deepest human physiological level all the way up to the environment we collectively share. Only by considering the complexity and interconnectedness of the complex systems of Food, Health and Environment can we empower healthy and sustainable change.
