It works. Before I started fasting, I had accumulated dense fat on my belly, hips and thighs…..with fasting, it just melted off. I could see the difference each week and others saw it too. I am thrilled with the results and will continue with the program. 

Over the past five years, and as I reached my sixty-ninth year, my weight crept up by fifteen pounds. I was on my way to obesity and felt powerless to change. I weighed more than ever, even more than when I nine months pregnant! I knew that diet and exercise would help but I found it very hard to start and sustain.

When I have dieted in the past I lost a couple of pounds and then gained back more. I felt that my aging metabolism was letting me down and became sedentary because I I had no energy. With arthritis in my hips and knees, I couldn’t take on any intense exercise regime.  Not only was I concerned about my appearance but I knew this extra belly fat not good for my health either. I was stuck. My daughter suggested the Suste program. I had read about the benefits of fasting for weight management, health and longevity but I didn’t know where to start. I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did.

 

My experience has been very positive and I am thrilled with my results. I have lost 11 pounds in 11 weeks by doing weekly fasting challenges. It was actually only a small change to my current eating times and never felt hungry like I thought I would. With my newfound energy, I added 30 minutes of daily walking and some simple exercises at home a few times a week. This made me feel even better but I believe it was the fasting that kick-started my results. 

My Suste coach, Cuong started by asking about my physical measurements and medical condition. He helped me clarify my goals and to define a fasting plan that would work for me. It was a plan that allowed me to work with my daily schedule and food habits. I did not feel that I had to deprive myself and that I could eat foods that I like to eat. No strange foods or food purchase plans.  He did encourage sensible choices around sugar. If I had questions, he had answers…always knowledgeable and encouraging.  It was motivating to have someone check in and give feedback.
